This proposal story is extra special to us because it’s my sister in law (Blake’s sister), Haley, and her now fiancé, Kyle! These two have been dating for almost as long as Blake and me and it has been so fun watching them grow up together, and not to mention all of the years of family vacations we’ve had! We have all known that these two would be getting engaged in the coming months, but we were over the moon when Kyle called us to fill us in on the details and ask us to photograph the proposal!

 

Here’s how it all went down. Kyle proposed on his birthday because he knew Haley would never see it coming. He set up a birthday brunch with both families at The Oceanic Restaurant. When they arrived Kyle informed Haley that everyone was running a bit behind. He then suggest that because it was an unseasonably warm day in February they should take a walk on the beach. Little did Haley know, we were hiding disguised as people relaxing on the beach and waiting for them to walk in front of us and for Kyle to propose! When Kyle turned around to face Haley he said “You know what would be the best birthday gift?” and dropped down on one knee to ask her to be his wife! Haley’s face was full of shock and joy, and of course she said “Yes!!!” It was all I could do not scream in the moment out of happiness for the two, but we continued taking photos and then ran down and wished them their first of many congratulations!

 

We are so excited for Haley + Kyle and can’t wait to see them to continue to grow and of course for them to become Husband and Wife! We love you guys!!
